For those who are still waiting for me to finish the events that happened during the holiday, I'm sorry. I wanna tok abt the JC orientation 1st. LOL

Went back to school life 3 days ago, and it was seriously boring. 3.5 hrs of talk non-stop. Bad. But other than that, it was still okie..... The subject combi was good cause they allowed us to pick any 4 subjects either from the science or arts stream, of which one must be a contrasting subject. The A lvl new syllabus is rather demanding thou, we have to take an extra subject compared to the previous batches who took the style of the old syllabus. HOW LUCKY FOR THEM.

AND 'GREATEST' SUX. PLAYING THROUGH MY COMPUTER SPEAKERS NOW.

Anyway, the JC environment was still okie... except that I find those in yr 2 rather unfriendly... There seems to be a generation gap between the yr 1s and yr 2s. Althou they may be only a yr older than us, they seem so different from us.

WHY?

And boring orientation we've got. More than half the day was spent on talks. WTH. The rest of the school day consists a game or two, some administrative issues and MASS DANCE practice for the finale on friday night.

Here is what happened during one of the mass dance practice:

1. The student council leaders (OGLs) asked the yr 1s to form a few big circles for the dance.

2. Circles were formed. It tooked forever. There was a lack of gals. It was supposed to be a guy gal dancing.

3. Female OGLs had to slot into the circles to make do with the lack of gals.

4. It tooked forever again.

5. Finally, the circles were properly formed. Some OGLs taught us how to dance the 'Carlsberg Dance' (or whatever it's called).

6. The circle was supposed to be kept this way throughout the practice:

However, it became like this:

7. The hall wasn't spacious enuf.
Yeah. And some of my female partners were SUPER non-spontanous. It's either they do not know how to dance the dance, leaving me standing there doing nothing, or, they were SO SHY that they were damn reluctant to dance, and the dance looks like a MASS MESS.
That added on to the boringness of the orientation. But then I made new friends, which is good. And next week is the start of lessons. We have to prepare those notes ourselves, unlike secondary school. By the end of 3 mths I think I'll be really broke. Cause of the 'DIAMOND PHOTOSTATED' notes. Really bad. lol.
And I decided what subjects I'm gonna take. Since I hate sciences, and I'm in the art stream, I'm taking maths, econs and some geog and literature. Contrasting subject will be maths, of course. I'm never gonna step into science labs again. HAHAHA. LIBERATION!
And then I dunno y I decided to go into a pure science class in sec 3. I'm must be mad back then. =p
