It's so early in the morning and I am still not gonna sleep. TOMMORROW YOU GOTTA WAKE UP LA, DERREL!

I MEAN, DUH. I gotta wake up anyway, unless I died in my sleep today. What I mean is, I GOTTA WAKE UP EARLY.

LOOK AT THE TIME NOW. Derrel, stop sleeping so late. You are not a nocturnal beast mind you, you are a nocturnal human being, which makes you a hybrid human, because humans aren't nocturnal.

YES I'M HYBRID. I think I'm feeling insane now. Maybe it's because of the wonderful music that's plugged into my ears now.

And tommorrow is Teacher's Day Celebration, that means I'm expecting!

YES EXPECTING. I'm hybrid and I love to expect. Expecting a wonderful day tommorrow of course. Expecting red carpet to be placed right in front of my feet when I step foot into TWSS. That would be a simple gesture of my arrival.

OK SLEEP.

OK. Before I forget about this no link, lame tagging thing I am supposed to do by command of Jacky, I'm gonna do it now. =D

Please read the rules first: Each player of the game starts off by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged needs to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you'll need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their name.

1) I like to sit on the bus for a couple of hours just listening to radio and the DJs talking, enjoying the road scenery, nothing else. (That is if I can afford the time, like now, holidays.)

2) I usually order two bowls of rice for my meals. However, sometimes, I just need more rice, and I go order more bowls of rice, even if I have to queue up for a long time.

3) I will flare up really, really badly if people wake me up when I'm in the middle of a nap. (Note: nap, not normal sleeping routine)

4) I like scribbling rubbish on other people's books/notes.

5) I like to imagine I'm one of the characters in a game and make a short story out of it in my head.

6) I like to compress my rubbish so hard at home so that I won't have to get rid of the rubbish bag that fast. I hate throwing rubbish bags. Lazy. Lol.

6 people to be tagged: Mau Cheung, Samuel, Cui Ying, Nelson, Christina and Yu Ting.
(I anyhow choose one ah.)

OH MAN. I haven't been blogging for so long, I deserve ice cream to eat.

Feeling damn bloated now cause I ate a packet of bee hoon and then rice with chicken soup. With a cup of water after the meal. BLOATED. URGHHHHHH. Anyway, I am supposed to blog a few days back about National Day, but I procrastinated and only till today I had the perfect mood to blog about what happened during the week and such. So,

NATIONAL DAY!

Two pictures say two thousand words. I need not elaborate more on how wonderful the fireworks were, including 90% of the fireworks that were blocked by A TREE. As you might have presumed, yes, the two pictures posted above were the best shots that I have recieved from Mau Cheung.

But you see, there were BETTER and MUCH NICER pictures that you should admire. Such as the ones below:

People who went: Jacky, James, Xtina, Cui Ying, Samuel, Keh Kiong, Mau Cheung, Peng Yong, Miao De and Derrel. (Sadly, Miao De went off halfway to find his gf so he's not in the pictures!)

There were so many people who went to watch the fireworks, we had to squeeze while walking from one place to another. Someone (I can't remember who) was afraid because people kept squeezing Sam, and at the rate people are squeezing him, his orange juice will run out, cause well, he wears orange! I was kinda surprised that he actually wore orange during national day, I mean, won't he be afraid he will become juiceless and become totally dried out by the end of the day? How is he going to walk if he is totally dried out? So people, don't wear orange when there is a crowd you have to be among with! (unless you want to be squeezed dry, of course)

On a different note, I am in such pain. Pain from where? You might ask. From the whole of my chest to my shoulders. My legs too. My back too. All because of gym. I ran 4.8km on the threadmill non-stop! After running, I went to do some machine work-out for my chest and shoulders. I came home, slept, the next day,

WOW. PIERCING SENSATIONS!

The next day when I went to sleep I couldn't even turn my body to the other side. It was so painful I had to turn so slowly, 2 degrees a second. Yeah that slow. I can't bend down and pickup stuff now because my legs won't allow me to. Argh.

But the good thing is that I managed to finish a 4.8km run. I need more of such trainings for my stamina. Especially now I'm in a swim team, I got to work very hard to improve on my stamina (not forgetting napha too). So yeah, anyone wanna go run?

And last thing before I end this post,

I'm having holidays. I have trouble deciding where to go and play while you guys have school/exams. This includes both Poly/JC, so that pretty leaves me and nelson free for now (cause we have no exams, don't punch me for that). And we are so bored at home, any suggestions???

Have a nice school week guys! =D

LOOK HERE'S A NEW POST! A new post by me, Mr. Lee.

Was having quite a bad day today but managed to smile through most the day. NLE is getting on my nerves with that "TOY" editing project that I am supposed to complete by TODAY but I didn't, and I didn't care that much.

The DV deck was giving me lameass problems that I didn't even know what it meant. Such as having no timecode suddenly. SUDDENLY. And my computer kept hanging. I've had countless experiences of computers crashing in school therefore today I decided to heck care it once and for all and just leave my work there as it is. I just hope I won't get penalty for handing in late though, as I heard from my classmate that we can hand up late since our editing systems had problems.

NLE seriously takes up so much of my time, I didn't enjoy the fun of editing footages, just felt the fear of computers crashing and not able to complete on time.

However, it didn't really dampen my mood, I was looking forward to so many things that I want to do right now in my life, rather than sitting there feeling like a dumbo trying so hard to figure out what the hell is wrong with my edits.

Things that I look forward to currently: Maths, swimming, singing, games, music and sound, cutting my hair cause it looks like tyrannian hair, movies, teaching, and last but not least, FRIENDS. =D

Anyway, to end this post, let me side track off a little bit: PLUNGES in swimming.

How do you plunge? Well, grip your toes on to the edge of the board, relax your hands and bend your knees abit and bend your body down till your chest touches your knee. Keep your hands relaxed, DO NOT TENSE UP LIKE MR. LEE DOES. When you are ready to plunge, make yourself jump forward, with your head in and legs straight, and SPLASH! you have just made a plunge.

I can remember it, but I CAN'T APPLY IT! I suck at plunging, and the worst thing is that if I am about to plunge, and the more I think about plunging while plunging, the worse the plunge. It's something like GRIPPLING fear! Or in more conventional terms, psychological barrier. Conversely, when someone made me laugh just before I plunge, or if I feel just relaxed and just plunge, I can do better. I guess on wendesday why I seemed so not confident and the plunge was so bad because so many people are looking at me plunge. And the more I know people are looking at me, the worse it become. When I am supposed to plunge I was glued to the board! It's like my brain telling me, "Derrel! If you want to jump, make it good please, people are looking!", and my heart telling me at the same time," Derrel, just jump. Learn from it!".

Well in the end I did jump after a few moments.

IT WAS NOT A VERY WONDERFUL SIGHT TO BEHOLD.

Seriously, thinking about it, does psychology affect one's performance so much?

End of side tracking. People, comment about it!

Hey guys I am feeling great now. Really great. G-R-E-A-T. Especially when you realise that your school term is ending soon and you can be back to yourself very very soon, can't wait at all for holidays to start.

Anyway, just finished a project a few days back. CAM AND LIGHTS. I had to stay overnight and complete and because of that I had to sacrifice my swimming training! Oh well. I have only one thing to comment, which is that the carton of milk at Jia Yun's house tasted great at 3am in the morning. Imagine this: you wake up, look at the clock, realise it's 3am, get out from your bed and go to the refrigerator. You open the fridge door. Your eyes start to scan for something labelled 'FRESH MILK'. But there isn't any. Instead, you find a big carton labelled 'STALE MILK'. You begin to feel dissappointed and go back to bed.

Imagine that. The power of imagination. LOL!

Yeah. So where were we? Oh. CAM AND LIGHTS. Let's move on to something more recent: Monday. I was kinda surprised that there was not many people who came for training yesterday. I understand the seniors have quite a number of stuff to do cause it's year 3, but there are only 4 freshies including me! (with a few other seniors) Hm.... Shawn can be excused because he has a leg injury (better rest well), Kahvidha can't go due to problems so it's ok too, but still, so little people? What happened?

And during training yesterday, I went into the water,

COLD.

After warm up,

COLD.

Swam halfway, both of my legs started to cramp badly.

COLD.

Got out of the pool.

VERY COLD.

Massaged my leg and went back into the water,

VERY VERY COLD. I BET THE WATER WAS ONLY AROUND 20 DEGREE CELCIUS.

I was shivering so hard all the way till the end of training. Luckily my nose didn't react to the cold by sneezing. Did everyone know that the pool was going to be so cold that's why many people didn't come yesterday? Hm....

On a warmer note, LOOK WHAT I FOUND FROM JACKY'S BLOG:
