The Promise Of Bunrei

Day by day I live,
The grass trampled by me,
The plains that I stand on,
The islands that I see.

At dawn I will pray,
That my soul will not decay.
Managed to live through another day,
It's the promise of Bunrei.

Sitting on my old stool,
Listening to the birds sing,
Farseeking into the mountains,
engulfing the forest.

As my days are numbered,
As I grew wiser
I never cared about death,
I was enlightened.

Nothing matters to me more;
I have a fufilling life,
Cause' it's all thanks to,
The promise of Bunrei.
